You've probably spilled on your clothing before, and you're probably going to spill again. You'll forget to wear your adult bib by Formal Bibs or you won't have time to put one on. So, here are a couple of simple tips for you to keep your clothing as good looking as possible.
If you've been eating fried chicken and have grease stains, scrape off the excess solids with a table knife and brush off the crumbs which will also begin to leech out into your clothing. Place the stain face-down on a paper napkin or a paper towel. On the underside of your clothing squeeze a small amount of dishwashing liquid on the stain to begin breaking up the grease stain, and wait about a minute. Pretreat the the stain with liquid detergent, and wash it immediately on the warmest water setting for your clothing.
For fruit juices, wines, coffee, sauces and soft drinks, blot the stain first with a paper towel and then with cold water. Then, blot away the moisture again. Wait a minute and then easily wipe clean with club soda and pretreat with liquid detergent as above.
Besides your own Formal Bib, you should always keep Tide To Go in your car, in your kitchen, and in your laundry. It can't created miracles, but it does save many garments.
